However, this site is not aimed at identifying a promoter who will accept your PhD programme, nor at identifying sources of funding for your doctorate. This information is available at www.unamur.be/etudes/pe/doctorat

The information which you will be asked for will be used to determine whether you meet the administrative and academic criteria for embarking on doctoral thesis. For more information, see the doctoral regulations.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of the main documents to be provided for a 1st application for a PhD at UNamur

- A copy of your identity card or a copy of your passport and a recent certificate of nationality;

- A copy of all university or non-university diplomas and transcripts for each year of study leading to these diplomas. If the documents are in a language other than French, Dutch or English, an official translation of these documents must also be provided;

- A copy of the higher secondary education diploma;

- A description of the research project;

- An e-mail from each member of the supervisory committee confirming their agreement to supervise the research work;

- The draft doctoral training programme;

If you are concerned, the draft co-supervision agreement if it is already being drawn up.
